Major Update: Airborne 2.0


Airborne 2.0

We're happy to announce our first major update! After the JameGam, we wanted to add some features and polish that we didn't have time for during the actual jam. Here is the list of new features:

  1. Added seven new passengers - there are 25 passengers in total now.
  2. High and low stats (Infection Rate, Economy, Stability) slowly affect a city's overall standing over time as you travel across the land.
  3. Removed the turn timer that ends the game, elongating the game flow. 
  4. Rebalanced passenger stats to fit the new game flow.
  5. New visual cues and animations to better show the change a passenger has on their destined city.
  6. Linked newspaper articles to the actual passenger that you chose, creating unique entries that better represent their personality and job.
  7. The game tells you if your passenger was infected or not after your trip is over.
  8. Updated Ending to trigger once the virus is cured or has spread to every city.

We are aware that there are still some minor visual bugs, that we are looking to fix in the next update along with a more robust options menu.
